Carolyn Anderson, 55, of the Lot-Mud Creek Community of Whitley County, KY passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Jellico Medical Center in Jellico, TN.

She was born on June 24, 1964 to the late Hiram Anderson and Mima (Tidwell) Anderson.

Her paternal grandparents were the late I. M. Anderson and Lee Ota (Siler) Anderson. Her maternal grandparents were the late Joe Tidwell and Betty (Branam) Tidwell.

She was a member of Kensee Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her father and grandparents, she was preceded in death by brother, Gary Anderson; uncles, Croley Anderson, Bradley Anderson, Horace Tidwell, Ray Tidwell; aunts, Mary Magdeline (Anderson) Wagner, Doris Geneva Tidwell, Emily (Tidwell) Morgan.

She is survived by her mother, Mima (Tidwell) Anderson, of the Lot-Mud Creek Community of Whitley County, KY; first cousins, Doris Ann Corey, Sharri Tidwell, Lara Nicole Tidwell, and Jeffrey Tidwell; several other relatives and a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her passing.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral immediately followed visitation Monday, July 22, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating.

Burial followed in the Stanfill Addition of the Pleasant View Cemetery in Whitley County, KY.

Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of all arrangements.
