Herstle “Monk” J. Hicks, Jr., age 63, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his home.
He was born October 8, 1961, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Monk is preceded in death by his father, Herstle Jean Hicks, Sr.; mother, Bonnie (Daugherty) Stevens; brothers, Earl Monroe “Tad” Hicks, and Tony Lee Siler.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Anderson; stepdaughter, Siera Walters; brothers, Caney Dewayne Hicks, and Ricky Lynn Siler; sisters, Alexanderia Blankenship, Janice Byers, Pamela Witt, and Mary Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
