Tabitha Renee Jenkins

Tabitha Renee Jenkins, 36, of Williamsburg, passed away on Thursday, November 1, at Baptist Health Corbin. She is survived by three children. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott Cemetery in Rockholds.

Samuel Boyd Phipps

Samuel Boyd Phipps, 36, of Falcon Drive, Gray, passed away on Sunday at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of Freddie and Cherri Thomas Phipps of Gray. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Cemetery in Gray, The family of Mr. Samuel Boyd Phipps will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.

Sue Gatliff

Sue Gatliff, 81, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018, at her home. Sue is survived by three children. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. A graveside service at Cumberland Memorial Gardens will follow at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Lonnie Storms officiating.

Edward Dean Parker, 69, the husband of Sandra Hamblin Parker of Joey Durham Lane, Corbin, passed away on Friday afternoon at his residence. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Sturdivant and Pastor Craig “Pete” Clark officiating. Graveside services and burial was conducted immediately after at The Wells Cemetery in Barbourville.

Paul W. Burke, story teller, outdoorsman, and music connoisseur, passed away on November 1st, at the age of 62, after a hard fought battle with Sepsis.
