Bonnie Doris Gabbard Barker

Bonnie Doris Gabbard Barker, 94, of Union Grove, AL was called to heaven on June 19, 2017 in Huntsville, AL after a brief illness. She was born on August 18, 1922 in Breathitt County, KY to her parents, John D. and Ethel Moore Gabbard. She attended Midway College in Kentucky and graduated with a degree in Secretarial Science. Bonnie was a civil service employee at Fort Knox for over 30 years where she served as the secretary to the US Army Armor School Commanding General. She married Jake P. Flora “Margie” Hawn, 69, of Goshen, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at her home. She was born November 16, 1947, in Detroit, MI to Solomon Duco and Dorothy (Alsip) Slagle. On October 29, 2002 she married James Hawn in Gatlinburg, TN. A Goshen resident since 1977, Margie worked with special orders at Cequent Towing. Joe Foley, 77, of Williamsburg, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his home. He was born on March 23, 1940 in Saxton, to the late Cecil Foley and Lola (Hayes) Foley.
