Charlene Grace Jeffers, 82, of Lafollette, TN passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at home. She was born March 18, 1934 in Middlesboro, KY. Charlene is preceded in death by parents, Dan and Uhla King Lambert; son, Ted Reynolds; brother, ​Ted Lambert. Phillip Gordon Prewitt, 72, of North Hwy 25W, Williamsburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at UK Healthcare in Lexington. He was born on November 2, 1944 in Whitley County, to the Raymond Gordon Prewitt and Norma Ruth (Cox) Prewitt. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Gordon Prewitt.  Phillip attended Brays Chapel Church of God. Ruby Walker Ball, 94, of Corbin passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was a life long member of Felts Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Ball. Jerrell Loren Pridemore, 68, of Lily, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 in the Compassionate Care Center at Richmond. His visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Jean Ingram, 65, of Cripple Creek, Rockholds, departed this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born on January 14, 1952 in Williamsburg, to Matt Patrick and Daisy Rickett Patrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Daisy Patrick; brothers, Don Patrick, Roy Patrick, and Lonnie Patrick; and sister, Susie Loudermilk. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Miranda Kay Foerst, 32, of Wolf Creek Road, Williamsburg passed away Wednesday, March 8 at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico. She was the wife of Michael Foerst. The funeral was held March 13 at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Moses officiating. Interment was in the Siler Cemetery of Wolf Creek.

Jerry Calvin Roark, 74, of Corbin passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Corbin. Survivors include his wife of more than 41 years, Jan Roark. The funeral was held Saturday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Rowe officiating. Burial followed at the Roark Cemetery at Keavy, with military honors by the DAV Chapter 158 honor guard.

Harrison Smith, 78,  the husband of the late Lori Smith of North Archer Street, Woodbine, passed away on Wednesday evening at the St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington. By request of the family all services will be private. Burial was in the Slusher Cemetery in Rockholds. Laurel Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Smith family.

Bonnie L. Smith, 68 of Williamsburg, passed Friday March 10, 2017 at Jellico Community Hospital. She was born April 24, 1948 in Whitley County to the late William Hill and Nancy Bray Hill. Betty J. Foxx, 90, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin. Born in Corbin, Betty was the daughter of the late James Everett Bull and Irene Arnold Bull. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed reading. Betty had worked as office manager and was employed for 37 years by the Kentucky Department of Employment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother Maggie Arnold; sister Mary Dean Bull and brother Ray Bull; and by a very special aunt Louise Steele.
