She was born November 28, 1928 to the late Amos Fred and Mima Woodward Powers. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wilson; five brothers, Howard, Jimmy, Herman, and Archie, Bernard; and two sisters, Mae, and June.
