He was born November 20, 1959 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Nelson and Betty Cox Strunk. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elliana Woods. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Strunk of Williamsburg, KY; daughter, Emily Ann Woods (Justin) of Corbin, KY; two sisters, Nancy Hampton (Jimmy) of Knoxville, TN, and April McIntosh (Ernie) of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Otis Ray Baker, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his home in Corbin, Kentucky. Born November 21, 1942, in Bell County, he was the son of the late Otis Ray Baker, Sr., and Rachel Baker. Otis was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Additionally, he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of the Hugh Harris Masonic Lodge. Martha Silvers, age 57, of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at her home. She was born December 27, 1965, in Chicago. Martha was preceded in death by her father, George Duff Silvers; mother, Lena (Jones) Silvers; brothers, Gene Silvers, and Max Silvers. She is survived by sons, Dillion Jones and wife Lisa Anne, and Mason Jones; daughter, Tyler Jones; grand children, Lincoln Jones, Abigale Jones, Agnes Jones, and baby David Stilling; sisters, Verna Jones and husband Robert, and Linda Silvers’ and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing. Gerald Joseph “Jerry” Neal, age 79, of Jellico, Tennessee, the beloved husband of the late Kathy Neal, passed away late Saturday evening, August 5, 2023, at his home. Jerry was born on March 12, 1944, to the late Joseph Neal and Eleanor R. (Curry) Neal in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. His paternal grandparents were the late Henry and Catherine Neal. His maternal grandparents were the late George Curry and Ida (Barton) Curry. He was a graduate of Jellico High School – Class of 1962.
