Lois M. Cox, 94, of Highway 779, Rockholds, departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center. She was born on August 21, 1922 in Whitley County, to the late Cager A. Terrell and Gertie Johnson Terrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Grover Cox.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Ronnie Lee Russell, 61, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at University Hospital, Inc., in Cincinnati, OH. He was the beloved son of Talmadge and Opal Yates Russell. In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by many of his Kentucky family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Russell; and his grandparents, Charlie and Deema Russell and Albert and Lola Yates. Roscoe Jones, 61, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. Roscoe is survived by his wife Mayme Jones. Jerry W. Hummel, 79, of Orange, TX formerly of Williamsburg, passed away on January 31, 2017 in Beaumont, TX. He was born March 10, 1937 in Williamsburg, to the late Charles R. Hummel and the late Virgie Smith Hummel. Jerry was a member of North Orange Baptist Church in Orange, TX and was involved in their senior adult choir. He began working at Allied Signal in Orange in 1959 and retired as a supervisor in 1994. He loved rock hunting, faceting stone, making jewelry and he enjoyed fishing.
