The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources offers numerous classes for those wanting to learn more about hunting and fishing.
Unless exempt, Kentucky requires all hunters born after 1974 to earn their certification to be able to hunt legally. Kentucky offers more than 300 hunter education courses throughout the state each year. Classes are available in person or online. A Williamsburg attorney accused of being in court while intoxicated has entered a guilty plea in his case.
James Wren, II, 69, appeared in Whitley District Court for arraignment Monday on a lone count of alcohol intoxication in a public place, which he pled guilty to. His plea was accepted and he was ordered to pay a $25 fine as well as court costs as part of his sentencing.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Matt Ridener arrested Adam Anderson, 40, at 11:34 a.m. Friday on three counts of failure to comply with sex offender registration and for failure to notify address change to the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
