The cold, icy weather won’t deter businesses in the City of Corbin from ensuring that both residents and tourists have plenty of fun activities to enjoy this Feb.
“I think in the winter people can get a little stir-crazy,” said Emily Roberts, Executive Director of the Corbin Tourism and Convention Commission. “You get bored because you’re stuck inside because of the ice and snow. Events like these can give people the opportunity to get out of the house, have some social interaction and have some fun.”

“They’re fairly new,” said Roberts. “We just want to spread the news that they are there, available, and that they have delicious sweet treats for people to enjoy.”

“It’s just so special to see people come out and attend the events and see them enjoying themselves,” said Roberts. “It’s just a way to serve people and give them offerings of entertainment and to be able to send time with their friends and family and make memories with one another.”
Roberts continued with, “It’s just a win-win for everybody, for the event organizers and the people who get to come and experience the events.”
