Corbin duo charged in burglary of Lily home

Date:

Two Corbin men have been arrested in connection with a burglary Tuesday morning at a home on Echo Valley Road in Lily in which about $3,000 worth of jewelry and a .32-caliber handgun were taken.

According to Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, public affairs officer with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, Adam Stone, 31, and Frederick Odonnell, 26, have each been charged with one count of first-degree burglary and the jewelry and jewelry boxes have been recovered.

Acciardo said surveillance video had captured the burglars in the act.

About 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police stopped the suspect’s vehicle on South Main Street in London. Inside they found the empty jewelry boxes that had been stolen from the home.

Stone and Odonnell were arrested on the burglary charge and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $500 and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
