The Corbin Public Library will hold a book signing for local author Patricia Estep O’Neal Friday night.
O’Neal’s book, “Wait ‘Till You Hear This One,” is a series of humorous essays in which O’Neal describes her family and childhood in the hills of Appalachia.
The book includes 100 short stories detailing the family’s day-to-day life.
“The stories about things that have happened through the years of her life are really quite entertaining and especially interesting if you care about the past or what happened in history during those years,” said Diane Mitchell with the Friends of the Library.
O’Neal will be at the library from 4:30 until 6 p.m. to read from, and sell and sign copies of the book.
