Davey Earl Williams, age 68, of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home.
He was born to the late Billie and Shirley (Hembree) Williams on December 2, 1953 in Pineville, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Heather) Williams.
He is survived by his son, Dan Ramos and his wife, Karen of Corbin, Kentucky; and by his daughter, Shannon Sweat and her husband, Ron of Greeley, Colorado; six grandchildren, Cortney, Aaron, Brandon, Heather, Alicia, and Dylan; five great-grandchildren, Cayden, Rowan, Torin, Poseidon, and Rayne; uncle, Jerry Hembree (Donna) of Corbin, Kentucky; aunt, Billie Ann Gladden (Sam) of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister-in-law, Cheri Heather of Gardner, Kansas; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Davey was a good man who was always ready and there for his family and friends. Davey was also a United States Marines Veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, loved to build and fly RC planes, enjoyed fly fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. from 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 2, at the Bruce Funeral Home, 106 South Center Street in Gardner, Kansas.
Graveside service will follow with military honors at 1:30 P.M. at Gardner Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Cummins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any children’s charity of your choice.
