David Wayne Mitchell, age 64, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at the North Knoxville Medical Center. He was born November 8, 1960, in Whitley County, Kentucky.
David is preceded in death by his father, Linvelle Ray Mitchell; and mother, Nina Lee (Miles) Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki (Bryant) Mitchell; sons, David Taylor Mitchell and wife Brandi, Benjamin Colby Mitchell and fiancée Brittany, Gabriel Bryant Mitchell and wife Alannah, Isaac Lee Mitchell and fiancée Kaytonna; grandchildren, Haven, Ronan, Liam, Cambrie, Dax, Tyleigh, and Aurora; brothers, Tim Mitchell and wife Susan, Scottie Mitchell; sisters, Sherry Massy and husband Jake, Connie Mitchell, Vickie Lynn Mitchell; brother-in law and like a brother, Samuel Bryant; longtime friend, Billy Swords; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm on Thursday, April 17, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel, with the memorial service starting at 6 pm with Dr. Geogy Thomas officiating.
