The Girls’ 50th District Basketball Tournament tipped off at Corbin’s Gilliam Gym Monday night.
The first game saw the South Laurel Cardinals fly away with an 80-17 win over Williamsburg.
During the nightcap, Corbin’s home court advantage was not enough to get them the win as they played their final game this season.
Whitley County’s Lady Colonels will make their return to the region tournament after a 53-46 win over the Lady Redhounds.
