Donald Bruce and Deloris Helton to celebrate 50th anniversary

The children of Donald Bruce and Deloris Helton would like to invite family and friends to attend a Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebration to be held at the Merry Jeffries Center located in Williamsburg on September 1st from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
The couple were married 50 years ago by the preacher I. B. Pfoff at his home in Rockholds on the Imperial Hollow Road. The Heltons have lived most of their married life in the Rockholds area and now make their home at Jacks Fork.
Bruce and Deloris raised six children: three sons Carl Wayne Helton, Douglas Michael Helton, and Bruce Glenn Helton; three daughters Barbara Janet Helton, Mary Angela Simpson and Marsha Regina Jones. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bruce worked in the coal business running heavy equipment and also a road grader for the county before his retirement. Deloris is a homemaker.
The family invites you to come and help the couple celebrate the last 50 years. A guest book will be available and guests are encouraged to share memories of the couple.
