Donnie Elbert Douglas, Sr., age 72, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his home.
He was born December 2, 1952, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Donnie is preceded in death by his father, James Walter Douglas; mother, Iris (Lamb) Douglas; and sister, Ruth Teague.
He is survived by his life partner, Virginia O’quinn; son, Donnie Elbert Douglas, Jr. and wife Amber; daughter, Rhonda Irene Cox; grandchildren, Casey Schaffer, and Marissa Roach; brother, Paul Douglas and wife Shirley; sisters, Wanda Perkins, Nina Marples, Jo Broyles and husband Donny, and Magdalene Johnson; special friend, Larry O’quinn; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, December 15, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Douglas officiating.
Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery, Wooldridge community.
