Ella Ann Carpenter, 67, of Highway 1223, Corbin, departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
She was born on December 19, 1951 in Great Barrington, MA to the late William J. Wilkinson and Anna (Pulzun) Wilkinson.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gerski and a brother, John Wilkinson.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Carpenter Sr. of Corbin; son, Walter Carpenter Jr. (Terri) of Corbin; her mother, Anna Wilkinson Norfolk, CT; sister, Ruth Larsen (Jeff) of Harwinton, CT; three brothers, Willie Wilkinson Housatonic, MA, Harry Wilkinson Torrington, CT and Teddy Wilkinson (Nancy) of Norfolk, CT; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Deanna Bays and Jan Lambdin of Williamsburg and all her friends from the Williamsburg Walmart; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, April 24, at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating.
Burial will be private in the Hamblin Cemetery.
