Evalene Henderson Welch, 86, of Richmond, IN formerly of Jellico, TN passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Rosebud Village Nursing Center in Richmond, IN.
She was born on July 18, 1931 to the late Clayton Henderson and Ruthie Luttrell Henderson in the Valley Creek Community of Claiborne County, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neal P. Welch; older sister, Izella Henderson Hatfield; older twin brothers, Dillard Henderson and Hillard Henderson; younger twin brothers, Donald Henderson and Ronald Henderson; and younger sister, Jeanette Henderson Love (twin sister of Janice); mother and father-in-law, Dock Welch and Nancy Cummings Welch.
She is survived by her daughter, April Welch; special brother, Onvia Henderson; sisters, Janice Henderson Williams and Ada Ruth Henderson Roots and husband, Bill, all of Richmond, IN; and a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
The graveside funeral service and burial was held December 2 at the Jellico Cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Johnson and the Rev. Lonnie Lyke officiating.
Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of all arrangements.
