Date:

Fire destroyed an Old High Top Road home late Wednesday night near Corbin.

Over a dozen firefighters from Keavy and Oak Grove volunteer fire departments responded to the blaze at 178 Old High Top Road shortly before midnight.

Keavy Fire Chief Ronnie Bales said at the scene about 1:00 a.m. Thursday that so far firefighters don’t know what caused the blaze, and to his knowledge no one was injured.

“As far as I know everybody was out when we got here,” Bales said.

Whitley County EMS also responded to the scene.
