Story time: Kentucky’s First Lady Britainy Beshear and Miss Kentucky Hannah Edelen were both present for the unveiling of a new Little Free Library at Whitley North Elementary School on Tuesday afternoon. The library, which was sponsored by Oakwood Homes in London, will allow books to be freely exchanged 24/7 to help encourage reading. Beshear and Edelen spoke with students before the event and then participated in a ribbon cutting for the library. The event wrapped up with Beshear reading the students a book.
