Friday Night Highlights: Sept. 22, 2023

Three coverage area teams were back in action in week 6.

The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets improved to 2-2 with a 52-7 victory over visiting North Greene out of Tennessee. The Jackets will be back at home again next week to open up district play against the 1-5 Pineville Mountain Lions.

The Corbin Redhounds also dominated their opponents this week, going on the road and defeating the Hazard Bulldogs, 42-0. The win improves the Hounds to 5-0 ahead of a home stand next week against visiting Johnson Central (4-2).

Finally, the Lynn Camp Wildcats traveled to Middlesboro, falling to 2-4 on the season after a 36-0 defeat. The Cats will have a bye next week.

The Whitley County Colonels were on bye in week 6, and will travel to Scott, TN next week.
