Geneva Gibbs Morgan Litton, 95, of Cumberland Falls Highway Corbin, departed this life on Saturday December 8, 2018 at her daughters home.
She was born on October 8, 1923 in Corbin, to the late Everett and Sudie (Russell) Gibbs and preceded in death by her husbands, Orville Morgan and Vernon Litton; four brothers, Walter Gibbs, William B. Gibbs, Elzie Gibbs, Steely Gibbs, and sister Lydia Wells.
She was survived by two daughters, Betty Wilson and husband Wayne of Corbin, and Norma Halstead of Corbin; four sons, Arnold Morgan and wife Darlene of Corbin, Clayton Morgan and Darlene of Lily, Denver Morgan and wife Lisa of Corbin, and Archie Morgan of Siler; 23 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren; a sister June Gibbs Gray of Corbin, and brother Lloyd Gibbs of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to morn her passing.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 12 at 1 p.m. at the Croley Funeral Home.
Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Moore Cemetery on Frankfort School Road in Corbin with Rev. James Hodge and Don Farmer officiating.
