George and Rebecca (Becky) Gibbs were united in marriage August 1, 1956. This union was blessed with one daughter, Georgetta and her husband Michael Powers; one son, Leslie and his wife, Betty. They also have two grandsons, Steve Gibbs and his wife Alaina and Mark Gibbs and his wife Chasity. Also four great-grandsons, Peyton, Aaron, Austin and Ethan. George, Becky and family all reside at Mulberry.
To celebrate their anniversary their daughter gave them tickets to see a Renfro Valley show and dinner at Ryan’s given by their son. A family picnic was enjoyed with a 50th anniversary cake made by niece Louella Reeves.
