Jo Ann Rose, 86, of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born November 9, 1931 in Whitley County, to the late Wolford and Dorcas Beams Carr.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers James Robert Carr and Kenneth Carr.

She was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters; Ruth Moses of Williamsburg, and Phyllis Hassink (Kenneth) of Cleveland, OH; one brother; Garlin Carr of Clearfield, UT; two nieces, Lynndee Jackson (Randy) or Roy, UT, and Rebecca Laudermilk of Lexinton; two nephews, Kenny Carr (Rhonda), of Williamsburg, and Russell Carr (Jeana) of Corbin; several great nieces, great nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Tuesday June 19, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Carr, Rev. Lester Cox, Rev. Tony Lawson and Rev. Ronnie Mullins officiating.

Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View.
