Jones Plastic recognizes longtime employees with special luncheon

Last week, longtime employees of Jones Plastic and Engineering in Williamsburg were recognized for their many years of service during a special luncheon at the plant.

CEO Craig Jones spoke at the luncheon, saying, “We are blessed to have everyone here, and we appreciate all of your hard work that has allowed us to be here for 30 years. We couldn’t do it without a lot of effort and commitment to making the plant successful, and making our customers happy. You all do a great job of that.”

Those receiving certificates of achievement at the luncheon were:

  • Terry Cox – 29 years
  • Ron Williamson – 26 years
  • Margaret McKiddy – 26 years
  • James Shupe – 25 years
  • Elvis Carpenter – 24 years
  • Alan Petrey – 24 years
  • Bill Rice – 22 years
  • Ronda Lambdin – 20 years
  • Renata Powers – 19 years
  • Lisa Rains – 18 years
  • Willie Singleton – 18 years
  • Jacqueline Sparks – 18 years
  • Harry Faber – 18 years
  • James Wynn – 17 years
  • Mary Terry – 15 years

According to the Jones Plastic and Engineering website, the Williamsburg plant is a 150,000 square foot facility, housing about 300 employees and running a 24/7 work schedule. The plant serves the automobile, appliance, power sports, and lawn and garden industries.
