Kevin Edward Hopeck, age 54, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at home.
He was born November 15, 1971, in Westerville, Ohio to Tom and Syvonia Hopeck.
Kevin lived independently and was deeply loved by all who knew him. He was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man widely known for his kindness, warmth, and genuine friendship.
Kevin dedicated his career to nursing, taking great pride in his work and in the meaningful relationships he built with colleagues and patients alike. Outside of work, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He especially cherished moments with his son, Korey, daughter-in-law Adrienne, and his two grandsons, Azariah and Neyland. Time spent with close family and friends was always most dear to him.
Kevin is survived by his son, Korey (Adrienne) Hopeck; and his beloved grandchildren, Azariah and Neyland; father, Tom (Elaine) Hopeck; his brother, Keith (Karen) Hopec; his nieces, Kendra and Lindsey; like a mother Glenda Brewster; and special friend, Michael Arnstadt.
Kevin will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his compassion, dedication, and the love he shared so freely with others.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday, January 17 at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with a celebration of life memorial service to follow at 8 pm with Rev. Randy Bargo officiating.
