Kirby Lawson

Kirby Lawson, age 83, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 29, 1942 in Whitley County to the late Ewell and Melinda Lawson.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Lawson; three sons, Keith Lawson, David Bowman, Robert Bowman; one daughter Carol Ann Caddell; two sisters, Dorothy Partin, Dora Lawson; and two brothers, Narvie Lawson, Arlie Lawson.
He is survived by seven children, Judy Watson of Gulf Shores, AL, Juanita Smith of Sidney, OH, Michael Bowman (Khrista) of Sidney, OH, Lorene Bitsy Swanson (Anthony) of Williamsburg, KY, Tracy Lawson (Pam) of Williamsburg, KY, Linda Lawson (Tim) of Ocala, FL, Kirby Ray Lawson (Cindy) of Ocala, FL; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margie Brock of Williamsburg, KY, Janet Hoffer of Cincinnati, OH, Freda Lawson of Williamsburg, KY: one brother, Randy Lawson of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday February 1, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hurst and Rev. Joe Caddell officiating.
Interment was in the Davis Cemetery.
