Larry M. Smithers

Larry M. Smithers, 77, of Woodbine, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his home.
He was born to the late Aaron and the late Alberta (Muncie) Smithers on November 11, 1944.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, John Henry and Florence Hill; sisters, Mary Sue Hardin, Diane Arvin, Elizabeth Ann Smithers, Carol Lynette Kwolskie; and brothers, David Michael Smithers, Johnny Lee Smithers, and Scotty Wayne Smithers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Freda Smithers of Woodbine, Kentucky; two sisters, Donna Jean Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada and Constance Lugar (Frank) Interlachen, Florida; one godson, Thaniel Malachi Paul; two special friends, Charles Bryant and Jeff Russell; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, at 5:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Tye and Rev. Harris Brewer officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery following the service.
