Leonard Meadors, 68, of Sycamore Street, Woodbine, departed this life on Monday, November 27, 2017 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born on June 1, 1949 in Williamsburg, to the late Lloyd Meadors and Nathel (Rigby) Meadors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Nathel Meadors; brothers, Lundall Meadors, Arman Meadors, and Mike Meadors; and sisters, Vinnie Viola Sheilds and Reldy Elizabeth Meadors. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of God.
He is survived by his sisters, Dessie Alene Perkins (husband Charles) of Williamsburg, Retha Adell Manes (husband Ronnie) of Williamsburg, and Mildred Arms (late Gary Arms) of Morristown, TN; brothers, Benjamin Dallas Meadors (wife Bonnie) of Williamsburg, Mitchell Jay Meadors (wife Brenda) of Woodbine, and Jessie Glen Meadors of Corbin; special nephew, Mitchell Meadors Jr. of Woodbine; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 1, at the Pleasant Hill Church of God with Rev. Roger Meadors officiating.
Following the service he was laid to rest the Pleasant Hill Church of God Cemetery.
