Mattie Rosetta (Rose) Carr

Mattie Rosetta (Rose) Carr, 79, of Rockholds, Kentucky departed this life on April 1, 2023 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born to the late Isham and Ethel (Smith) Meadors on Jan. 8, 1944 on Browns Creek.
Along with her parents, she in preceded in death by husband, Paul Verl Carr, and son, Paul Carr.
Rose is survived by four children, Daniel Carr and wife Tammy of Rockholds, Kentucky, Vance Carr of Rockholds, Kentucky, Kim Carr of Rockholds, Kentucky and Lesa Davis of Corbin, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kalup Davis, Tyler Faulkner, Amber Beaty, Kayla Beaty, Ashley Carr, Kaden Carr, Michael Carr, and Holly Stidem (James); great-grandchildren; Coroline Worthing, Orion Davis, and Bree Carr; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 5, 2023 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel after 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Logan officiating.
The burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery on Browns Creek Road in Rockholds, Kentucky.
