Michel Monhollen

Michel Monhollen, age 69, of Rockholds, KY, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at his home.
He was born February 15, 1955 in Whitley County, KY, to the late Elbert and Nina Rains Monhollen.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harrison and Clema Davis; son-in-law, Matthew Ferrell; two brothers, Elbert Monhollen, Jr., and Stanley Monhollen; and two sisters, Kathleen Jones, and Bertha Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Monhollen of Rockholds, KY; three children, Kim Ferrell of Rockholds, KY, Kasey Faulkner (Rick) of Rockholds, KY, and Katie Meer of Knoxville, TN; 10 grandchildren, Ashton Walters, Keaton Meer, Kendrik Meer, Connor Tipton, Brycen Tipton, Kace Faulkner, Brookie Ferrell, Alex Ferrell, Kenna Ferrell, and Eddie Ross; one brother, Riley Monhollen (Imogene) of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Memorial service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Cook and Rev. Wes Sulfridge officiating.
Visitation will be at 3:00 pm until the memorial service hour Thursday, December 19, at the funeral home.
