ONLINE ONLY: Corbin woman’s death may be linked to insect fogger

Date:

Officers with the Corbin Police Department are investigating the death of a Corbin woman and are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Christine Watts, of 508 Idaho Street, died Sunday evening at her home, but investigators are unsure as to why.
Early speculation is that Watts may have set off a number of insect bombs, which aided in her death, but police would not confirm that. They did however say that Watts had a number of health problems and that was possible that she died of natural causes, but are not ruling anything out.

Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley said that the cause of death is unavailable at this time pending the autopsy.
"Because of toxicology reports and tings like that, it could take a little while," he said. "We will release that when it is available."
