Patricia Ann Hamby

Patricia Ann Hamby, age 67, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born June 7, 1957 in Jellico, TN, to the late James and Dora Young Hamby. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Lena Hamby, Russ and Nan Young; a half-brother, James Hamby; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Lawson.
She is survived by her sister, Lena Lawson; two nieces, Christy Hamby, Kimbery Poe (Tim); nephew, James Hamby (Amy); aunt and uncle, John and Shirley Young; two aunts, Rosa Branscum, Bert Suttle; special uncle, James “Bub” Young; and a host of cousins and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 12, at the Ellison Funeral Home with Bro. Vernon Jones and Rev. Roger Prewitt officiating.
Interment will be in the New Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until the funeral hour Saturday, October 12, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made to the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
