Powers-Swords to unite

Mr. and Mrs. James Powers of Williamsburg, Ky. would like to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ciera Danielle Powers, to Eric Daniel Swords, son of John and Sara Boggs of Williamsburg, Ky. and Danny Swords of Cleveland, Ohio.
Cierra is a 2003 graduate of Williamsburg High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Cumberlands in 2008, and is a 2012 graduate of the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy in Charleston, W.Va. She is employed by Walgreens in Corbin, Ky. Her grandparents are James and DeVonda Miller of Knoxville, Tenn. and Joyce Powers and the late Pairon Powers of Williamsburg, Ky.
Eric is a 2004 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia College at Wise in 2009. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands in 2011. Eric is an assistant men’s basketball coach for the University of Virginia College at Wise. His grandparents are Peggy Chinn of Williamsburg, Ky. and Nellie Boggs of Pound, Va.
Ciera and Eric will exchange their vows on June 6, 2012 in a private ceremony in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
