Ronald Wayne Prewitt, 70, of Portland, Tennessee departed this life on March 19, 2023 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was born to the late Raymond Prewitt and Ruth (Cox) Prewitt on March 27, 1952 in Corbin, Kentucky.
Along with his father he is preceded in death by his wife of over 46 years, Dorothy (Ellison) Prewitt; one sister, Louise Prewitt; and one brother, Phillip Prewitt.
He is survived by two children, Amie Page and husband Cary of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Chad Prewitt and girlfriend Shelbie Sowers of Portland, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Camden Page, Jaelyn Page, Kensley Prewitt and Letty Jacobs; mother, Ruth Prewitt of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sister, Patty Custis and husband Dan of Van Wert, Ohio; five brothers, James Prewitt and wife Pauline of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Harold Prewitt and wife Virgina of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Dean Prewitt and wife Tammy of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Steve Prewitt and wife Tammy of Corbin, Kentucky and Randy Prewitt and wife Susie of Marysville, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel after 5:00 PM.
Funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in the Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery following the funeral service.
