Funeral services for Ruth Capps, 85, of Belton, Texas formally of Lexington, was held Thursday January 31, 2019 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Darrel Thompson and Dr. Bob Holland officiating.
Burial followed at North Belton Cemetery in Belton, Texas.
Mrs. Capps passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at her home in Belton.
She was born August 21, 1933, in Pleasant View, Kentucky to Oscar and Goldie Alice (Lambdin) Estes.
Ruth married James Capps in Jellico, Tennessee, August 27, 1955.
She was a member of Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church in Belton, Texas.
Mrs. Capps was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother, Shirley Lancaster, Doris Centers, and Robert Estes
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, a daughter, Donna Wickham and husband Peter of Belton; a brother, Paul Estes and wife Theresa of Williamsburg; two sisters, Faye Ramby of Dayton, Ohio and Barbara Cox of Copperas Cove; three grandchildren, Christopher Wickham, Stonewall Wickham and Jamie Ricks all of Belton and three great grandchildren, Logan, Avery and Jacob Ricks all of Belton.
