Steven Joe Lay, 55, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

He was the son of the late Layton and Brenda Oaks Lay of Corbin.

He was a US Army veteran and had been a long-distance truck driver.

Steve enjoyed playing billiards and working on cars.

Survivors include two sons, Lance Lay (Tonya) and Chaise Lay, both of Corbin; a granddaughter, Kayla Lay; his sister, Angie Campbell (Tom) and their sons, Dustin and Drew, all of Danville.

The funeral was held Sunday with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.

Burial was held at Rest Haven Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
