Out of the more than 700 election-related complaints that the Kentucky Office of Attorney General’s Election Law Violations Hotline has received in connection with this year’s Nov. 5 General Election, only three of those complaints dealt with alleged violations in Whitley County.
Whitley County Clerk Carolyn Willis said that she investigated two of the complaints finding there was no violation concerning one of the complaints while local election officials were able to resolve a second complaint Tuesday.
Willis said that she is unsure what a third complaint regarding a “procedural question” late Tuesday afternoon was about.
