UPDATED: Search for missing Whitley man ends in success

Update: Officials with the Whitley County 911 Dispatch Center say Thomas Anderson was found at about 6:30 p.m. Friday on a hill a couple miles from his home alive and well.

Whitley County emergency personnel have begun a search and rescue operation in southern Whitley County for a Saxton man.

According to Emergency Management Director Danny Moses, emergency workers are searching for Thomas Anderson, who has been missing from his residence on Keswick Road off of Ky. 1804 since 8 a.m. Friday.

Moses said Anderson was involved in a car wreck several days earlier and may be suffering lingering effects from it.
