0W BruceIveyWilliam Bruce Ivey, 61, of Pioneer, TN passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his home.

He was born April 7, 1955 in Jellico, TN.

He was a member, deacon and choir leader of Lick Fork Baptist Church.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Alex “Junior” and Flora Bridges Ivey.

He is survived by his wife of almost forty years, Naomi Baird Ivey; son, Robbie Ivey; daughter, April Ivey Cook and husband Jamie; grandchildren, Samantha Ivey, Dylan Ivey, Kaitlyn Dople, Chandler Dople, Braden Dople; step grandchildren, Mariah Cook, Emily Cook, Lindsey Cook, and Ethan Cook; brothers, Ted Ivey and wife Angel, Randy Ivey and wife Charlene; Ernie Ivey and wife Peggy; sisters, Mary Helen Ellard and Bobby, Bobbie Lewallen and husband Arvil, Nadine Pierce and husband Victor; special nephew, Alex Ivey; sisters and brothers-in-law: Shirley Kersey and husband Tony, Bonnie Mink and husband Owen, Mary Muse and husband Eddie, Estel Baird and wife Donna, Junior Baird and Jackie, and  host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing

The funeral was held Wednesday, August 17, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Ivey, Rev. Danny Norman and Rev. Harold “Pete” Norman officiating.

Burial was held Thursday, August 18, in the Valley View Cemetery (Elk Valley).
