Ora “Rosie” (Gross) Jarnigan, age 70, of Jellico passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at her home. She was born March 11, 1954, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Rosie is preceded in death by her father, Ozella Gross; mother, Leah Louise (Worley) Gross; brothers, James Cecil King and Wayne King; sister, Maxine King; father-in-law, Thomas Jarnigan; brothers-in-law, David and Michael Jarnigan.
She is survived by husband, Paul Jarnigan; daughter, Corrina Gulley; granddaughter, Devin Gulley; sisters, Lorene Thomas and husband Richard, Lillie Arrowood and husband Hurbert, Novella Brooks and husband Bill; mother-in-law, Wilma Jarnigan; brothers-in-law, Neil Jarnigan and wife Patsy, and Johnny Jarnigan; sister-in-law, Dorothy Stittums and husband Jimmy; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, October 27, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Burial was Monday, October 28, in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge community.
