Teresia Von Watson, 62, born on March 22, 1963, in Rockholds, Kentucky, passed away on December 21, 2025.
Teresia was a thoughtful and loving individual whose devotion and commitment to her family were unsurpassed. She was a cherished member of the Calvery Tabernacle Church in Corbin, KY, where she was known for her generous spirit and unwavering faith.
Teresia is survived by her loving husband of over 31 years, Ernest Watson of Rockholds, KY. She leaves behind a legacy through her children: Vanessa Strickland and husband Larry of Corbin, KY, Clinton Goodin of London, KY, Crystal Stewart and husband Daniel of Corbin, KY, stepsons, Aaron Watson and wife Misty of Jellico, TN, and Willy Watson and wife Lori of Corbin, KY.
Teresia’s love has extended to her grandchildren: Brittney Hinkle, Brandon Hinkle, Jeremiah Goodin, Courtney Nicole Hall, Noah Goodin, Addison Goodin, Cameron Holt, Keaton Watson, Daphne Baldwin, Jacob Strickland, Austin Strickland, and Trevor Strickland. Her great-grandchildren, Weston Smith, Hudson Hinkle, Boston Holt, and Baylor Holt will remember her loving and thoughtful nature.
She also leaves behind her siblings: Wayne Bird and wife Tammy of Williamsburg, KY, Pamela Barton of Corbin, KY, and Georgia Davis and husband Jerry of Woodbine, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger Bird and Carrie Rains; and her siblings, Billy Ray Rains, Alva Rains, Buck Rains, Charlie Bird, Lisa Shirer, and Marilyn Lanham.
Funeral service for Teresia was held at Croley Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, with Rev. Criag Thomas officiating.
Interment followed at the Croley Addition Highland Park Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
