Rodger Dale Hale, 51, of Bear Hollow Road, Rockholds, departed this life on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Barbourville.
He was born on December 14, 1965 in Lafayette, IN to the late William James Hale and Marie (Crabtree) Hale.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Hardie Hale and his grandfather, Milford Crabtree. Roger was a member of the Teamsters Union in Lafayette, IN.
He is survived by his son, Justin Lee Hale of Williamsburg; step-daughters, Ariel Dawn Darnell of Williamsburg and Victoria Alice Darnell of Rockholds; two grandsons, Ethan Scott Partin and Damon Alexender Herndon of Williamsburg; his mother, Marie Crabtree Hale of Rockholds; a brother, William Lee Hale of Rockholds; his grandmother, Zella Crabtree of Rockholds; and host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held Monday, December 19, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Matney and Rev. Jim Roark officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Crabtree Cemetery on Bear Hollow Road, Rockholds.
