Warren Owen Perkins, 65, of Elk Valley, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at home.

He was born December 6, 1951 in Elk Valley and was a member of the Stanfield United Baptist Church since July 1966. He was the owner and operator of the Lafollette Recycling Center for over twenty five years.

He was preceded in death by: father, Charles Perkins; and brother Larry.

He is survived by wife and best friend of forty four years: Linda Perkins; son, Richard Perkins; daughter, Deena Norman (Jerry); grandchildren, Chris Norman, Josh Perkins Nevaeh Perkins; mother, June Perkins; brothers: Herbert Perkins (Julie), Roeland Perkins (Linda); Lester Perkins (Trecia); sisters, Mae Muse, Vickie Woodward (Dean) and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14, at the  Stanfield United Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Lloyd and Rev. Jennings Terry officiating.

Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Warren Memorial Garden.
