William Earl “Willie” Sulfridge

William Earl “Willie” Sulfridge, 45, of Williamsburg, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.

He was born on October 10, 1971 in Corbin, to the late Ewell Sulfridge and Juanita (Canada) Sulfridge.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Sulfridge and Wanda Sulfridge.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Shelley) Sulfridge of Williamsburg; two sons, William Jasper Sulfridge and William Cody Sulfridge of Williamsburg; seven daughters, Viola Carter of Williamsburg, Courtney Stevens of Ohio, Ashley Andrews of Corbin, Nancy Sulfridge of Williamsburg, Katlyn Brooks of Williamsburg, Georgia Cox of Ohio and Abby Gail Sulfridge of Williamsburg; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Olen Sulfridge and wife Amy of Corbin; four sisters, Margie Baker and husband Tom of Maineville, OH, Patricia Cox and husband Greg of Russell Springs, Carol Leach of Williamsburg and Georgia Carrahear and husband Lenny of Cincinnati, OH; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, March 8, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Roehrich and Rev. Bill Meadors officiating.

He was laid to rest in the Canadatown Cemetery.
