Arnold Edward Jones, 80, of Keavy passed away Monday, September 4, 2017, at the VAMC in Lexington.
He attended Locust Grove Christian Church and was a United States Army Veteran.
Born October 15, 1936, in Leslie County, he was the son of the late Cecil and Hattie Jones.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Greg Jones.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Wanda Jones; two grandsons: Tim Jones and Gregory Jones; one granddaughter: Morgan Jones; three great grandchildren: Tori Jones, Keeley Jones, and Gregory Tate Jones; and one brother: James Jones, as well as numerous friends, to mourn his passing.
A memorial service was held Saturday, September 9, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rob Hale officiating.
The D.A.V. Chapter 158 conducted military rites.
Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin is in charge of the arrangements.
