Mary Garrett, 70, of Highway 904 East, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her home.
She was born on February 27, 1947 in Harlan, to the late Author Canada and Susan (Hamblin) Canada.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Garrett.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Garrett Sr. of Williamsburg; six daughters, Robin Richardson of Marysville, CA, Tabitha Garrett of Lexington, Donna Garrett of Williamsburg, Hope Westerhoff of Cartersville, GA, Penny Huffman of McKinney, TX and Susie Elizabeth Garrett of Williamsburg; son, Roger Garrett Jr. of London; twenty grandchildren; five-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Geneva Frodge of Indianapolis, IN, Wilma Lay Gross of Jonesboro, TN, Ruth Coffey of Williamsburg and Wanda Barton of Springfield, OH; several nieces and nephew, and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
