Mary Ann Goins Daugherty, age 69, of Jacksboro Road, Bronston, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Mary Ann was born on July 26, 1952 in Jamestown, Kentucky to the late Rev. William Lee Goins and Gladys (Ball) Goins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Carol Robinson.
She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Larry Wayne Daugherty of Bronston, Kentucky; three children, Kim Marcum and husband Rick of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, James Wilson and wife Crystal of Connelly Springs, North Carolina and Christina Haynes and husband Michael of Granite Falls, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Chassidy Philpot, Samantha Wilson, James Wilson, McKenzie Wilson, Mollie Marcum and Madalyn Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Korra Adkins Daugherty, Mason Kemper and Chase Kemper; six sisters, Betty Jane McDermott of Somerset, Melva Jean Goins (Roger Roundtree) of Williamsburg, Sunda Gayetta Sidwell (Alan) of Somerset, Patricia Ann Wilson (Jimmy) of Somerset, Georgia Gail Goins Rickett (James) of Williamsburg and Tina Marie Tye (Terry) of Williamsburg; five brothers, Johnny Lee Goins of Hudson, Florisa, Marshall Wayne Goins (Betty Maiden) of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, Gary Edward Goins (Sharon) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Chester Ray Goins of Williamsburg and David Allen Goins of Williamsburg; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Barker officiating. Burial will be private in the Goins Cemetery.
