Jerry Taylor leaves a complicated political legacy behind

Jerry F. Taylor, one of Whitley County’s most successful and controversial politicians, has passed away.

Taylor, 84, of Williamsburg, died Friday, Aug. 19, at his home. Funeral services were held Monday at Grace Christian Fellowship with Rev. Bill Carpenter and Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating.
